Meet the Talking Heads.

Four looks, one standard of finish. The hair is interchangeable, so each head can be restyled rather than replaced.

Talking Heads in motion.

Short studio clips of the heads speaking. The loops are silent; one clip carries its own sound and plays only when you ask it to.

03Craft

Made to be looked at closely.

The detail is in the places people look first: the eyes, the line of the lips, the texture of skin at the nose. These photographs are close, unfiltered and lit the way the heads are seen in a room.

Face
Finished by hand, from skin tone and brows to the fine detail around the lips and eyes.
Expression
Parted lips, visible teeth and a mouth shaped for speech, so each face reads as present rather than posed.
Hair
Interchangeable. A head can move from long and straight to soft waves without changing the face.
Stand
Each head sits on a brushed metal stand, as photographed.

04The atelier

Presence you notice in the room.

Away from the studio table, each look sits on a plain wooden stool against a grey curtain. No set dressing and no filters: just the head, the light, and the room around it. It is the closest a photograph comes to meeting one in person.
